Richard Sewell's Special Service 6/9/05 

We are delighted to welcome our new vicar, the Rev'd Richard Sewell, who joined us in September.  The special service on Tuesday 6 September was attended by Bishop Richard of Kingston and the Archdeacon of Lambeth, the Venerable Chris Skilton, with Merton's Mayor, Councillor Judy Saunders, Stephen Hammond MP and representatives from the wider community.

 

Richard comes to St Mark's having served his curacy at St Mary's Church, Putney.  Richard commented on his appointment saying,  “I am looking forward to working in such a vital, inclusive and friendly church.”  Richard & his wife JulieAnn, who is a teacher-trainer and also studying to be counsellor, will be moving to Wimbledon with their two young children Nathaniel and Eliana.
