Youth Groups

Life as a teenager can be challenging. At St Mark's, we aim to ensure young people have the strongest foundation possible to continue in faith, no matter what life throws at them.

Our youth group The Fridge meets on the 2nd Friday of every month 7.15-9pm in the church hall (on Compton Road). Anyone in school years 5-11 is welcome!

Come along to hang out with friends and have fun playing badminton, table tennis, Wii games, air hockey or giant Jenga, or just chill out and have a hot chocolate!

We have a suggested donation of £1 for entry and our tuck shop sells drinks and snacks all for 50p or less.

At every meeting, we have a 10 minute 'God slot' where we have a chance to think about our faith and beliefs in a fun and active way.

We regularly enjoy going on trips and getting to know each other better through social activities - so far we've been to White Spider Urban Climbing, Guildford Spectrum and London Eyeskate and have had a great time at quiz nights, movie nights and bowling parties!

The highlight of our youth group year is our weekend away to Carroty Wood Adventure Centre in Kent where we spend time together chatting, eating, abseiling, swimming, hiking, playing football and making new friends!

All our volunteers have been trained and DBS checked.
