Music in Sunday worship at St Mark's

St Mark's music group is a friendly, supportive group. Singers and instrumentalists of all levels of ability are welcome to come and develop their skills and their confidence in a relaxed environment, as we come to worship God, and help others to do so, through music as part of the liturgy

We sing for the 10am service every Sunday and we meet to warm up for this at 9.30am every Sunday morning.

Rehearsal usually happens after the morning service (once we've had coffee, of course), and on Thursdays 7-8pm.

Our repertoire, which is expanding all the time, includes new and traditional worship songs, songs from Iona and Taizé, simple anthems and music from the world church. We also have social events and get togethers. Watch this space for details!
