Rev’d Clive Gardner – Team Vicar
Clive was born 10 miles away in Ashtead, Surrey. He has been ordained since 1996 and has also worked as a personnel officer, lived as part of a religious community, been an auditor, and studied at drama school. Before moving to Wimbledon in 2011, he was Vicar of Cumnor in Oxfordshire, Chaplain to the current Bishop of Liverpool and Curate of Beverley Minster (Yorkshire). His pride and joy is his motorbike, and his favourite word is ‘grace’.
Clive is committed to making the Christian faith as relevant to people’s daily lives as possible, and to building a church where everyone feels genuinely welcome.

Rev’d Cynthia Jackson – Honorary Assistant Curate
Cynthia has lived in the London area since the age of 10 but was born in Cheshire. She spent all her working life in local Government, latterly working in the Social Services Department of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. She trained for ordination on the Southwark Ordination Course, whilst still working in Kensington, and has been ordained for 13 years. On retirement Cynthia moved from St. Matthew’s Church (in the Parish), where she was an Honorary Assistant Curate, to St. Mark’s.
Cynthia’s special areas of interest are prayer and spirituality, pastoral care and the healing ministry of the Church. She has taken a lead role over the last year in the development of St. Mark’s healing ministry.
