David Ainsworth (Church Warden)

David was appointed Warden in April 2010, his second time around in the post. He is married to Sarah and they have boys who used to be St. Mark’s toddlers but now the teenage variety. Apart from Sunday Services (of course) David particularly enjoys cycling and going to Greenbelt Festival in Cheltenham every year.

Liz Webber (Church Warden)

Liz has lived in Wimbledon since 1987 and has been coming to St. Mark’s since 1992.   She worked for JP Morgan’s Global Custody business in the City before becoming a full-time mum to her three children who were all baptised at St. Mark’s.  These days she juggles part-time work, looking after the family and walking the family’s flat-coated retriever.

Liz is married to Roy who describes himself as a St. Mark’s widower.

Sheila Dunman (Deputy Church Warden)

Sheila can claim the longest connection to St Mark’s: she was baptised in the ‘old’ church! She left Wimbledon to go to university, but after working in education abroad and in several Midlands cities, returned to her roots. She served as Church Warden at St Mark’s for five years and is also very involved in a local charity, The Wimbledon Guild.
