On Sunday 17th January there were no services at St Mark's as we joined a parish Eucharist at St Mary's to celebrate our Team Rector, Mary Bide, as she held her last service before retirement.
The service was exceptionally well-attended followed by a bring-and-share lunch at Bishop Gilpin School. It was a fantastic and fitting celebration of all Mary's hard work for our parish.
We wish Mary and her husband Mark all the best for a relaxing retirement together!
A reminder that on Sunday 17th January there will be no services at St Mark's as we are joining a parish Eucharist at St Mary's at 10.30am to celebrate our Team Rector, Mary Bide, as she prepares to retire.
We expect this to be a well-attended service, so please arrive in good time to get your place!
The service will be followed by a bring-and-share lunch to be held at Bishop Gilpin School, Lake Road (about 5-10 minutes from the church) to which all are welcome. Please bring a plate of buffet/finger food to share. Wine and soft drinks will be provided.
