Regular worship at St Mark's

Our Worship each Sunday is broad Anglican. It is at 10.00am and is a Eucharist (Holy Communion Service). It is ordered but not stuffy, formal but not stiff. Our preaching tries to be interesting, lively and relevant to today's world. You can find examples of sermons preached recently at Saint Mark's on this Web Site. As a Church we encourage people to explore their Faith and to ask questions, not just to accept it because the Vicar says so! We have an 'open Table policy' when it come to Holy Communion. This means that If you would usually take Communion in your own Church whatever the Denomination, you will be welcome to join the Community around the Altar and receive Communion. We have lots of activities for children, a Weekly Junior Church with Two age groups 2-7 and 8-11. We also hold regular Children's services details of which you can find on this Site. Our Monthly evening worship attracts an increasing number of people who are looking for a quiet start to their week and a chance to listen and to pray.

The music group always welcomes new singers - for details click here.

We worship on Week days too. We say morning prayer Monday to Thursday at 9.00am and we have a lunchtime Holy communion service in our Chapel at 12.30pm on Wednesdays. We have regular opportunities for teaching and exploration especially around Advent and Lent.

Please refer to the diary page to see all the regular worship at a glance.
