St Mark’s church is partnering with The Big Toy Swap Campaign to promote a more sustainable Christmas. We are aiming to rehome as may toys as possible: saving families money, reducing waste, and encouraging people to be proud of pre-loved presents. We are making toys a part of the circular economy and sustainable living, by regifting for others to enjoy!

The Wimbledon Christmas Toy Swap will take place on Wednesday 18th November from 7.30pm at Wimbledon Library.

Register here: Wimbledon Christmas Toy Swap Tickets, Tuesday 17 November • 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM | Eventbrite

You can also donate toys for the swap at St Mark’s Church on Saturday 14th November, 9am to 11.30am.

Please make sure

  • Items are clean, in good condition, CE marked in working order and have all their parts (we’ll turn away anything that doesn’t meet these standards).

  • If battery powered - make sure they’re charged/include batteries so people can check they work.

Bishop Christopher sent us this message earlier in the week: Please consider joining Richard by fasting in whatever way you can- using the time to pray for food and aid supplies to get into the region and meet the needs of those who are suffering so terribly. Please be sensible in fasting, doing only as much as you can manage and following medical advice, where necessary. If you do join in, you can share what you’re doing on social media by using the hashtag #fastforgaza

We have a lunch hour service every Wednesday in the small Chapel at 1pm. It lasts about half an hour. It consists of prayer, a short homily followed by communion in a relaxed environment.
